What's the deal with defiance in 2 year olds?

Hello!

In this video I answer a question from one of my lovely followers:

'My question is my almost 2.5 year old can be quite defiant and blatantly ignore instruction. Because she is quite young I generally let it go and will do whatever it is for her or something but I worry I'm not teaching her any good behaviour and setting myself up for a bratty child.'

I unpack some ideas around developmentally appropriate behaviour (hint: this totally is, haha sorry!), and also give my two key pieces of advice.
